This Radio, as a part of Public Enterprise comprising TV Kragujevac, founded by Town Assembly (in January 1970) has had its 30th anniversary this year.
Kragujevac Radio has two channels. Conception of the first is informative-political, and of the second informative-entertaining.
The first channel of Kragujevac Radio broadcasts its program from 6 in the morning to midnight and from midnight to 6 a.m. it takes over musical programs from satellite. Of 18 hours of program, 12 hours are of its own production. During day time the first channel gives news and Daily news, as well as the hole series of programs from within politics, economy, culture, health protection.
The second channel of Kragujevac Radio has 24 hours of contact programs of its own production. Its maxim is "listener reporter". Prevailing issues are of urban character, with news at each whole hour. The program of author Miroslav Miletic dealing with politics is the most listened one.
Unique example within sports program is the one edited by Radnicki football club fans.
